SPR# LBUS5M2MXA - WordPerfect 9 attachments can now be viewed on an R6 client. This regression was introduced in 6.0.

Problem:
This issue was initially reported to Quality Engineering via SPR #CYII4VMPNU
and was thought to be addressed in Notes 6.0. It was found, however, that the
issue persisted in Notes 6.x.

The issue in 6.x was then reported to Quality Engineering via SPR #LBUS5M2MXA
and has been addressed in the Notes 6.0.4 and 6.5.2 Client.

This regression was introduced in 6.0.


Note that SPR #CYII4VMPNU has now been fixed in Notes 6.5.3.

There are no plans to fix this issue in the R5 code stream.

Supporting Information:
Another customer has reported that the same issue also occurs when trying to
view Excel files saved with the CSV file format, after upgrading from Notes
version 4.5.1 to 5.0.7.
